The feel

Set amongst trees and meadows in the beautiful Henley on Thames, the River & Rowing Museum offers a unique wedding venue.

Arrive by boat, have drinks on our beautiful terrace and get married in our glass fronted Thames room.

Designed by RIBA Gold Medal winning architect David Chipperfield, our contemporary building provides a stunning backdrop to your special day.

Working with our outstanding catering partners, the Quince Tree, we provide the best of seasonal British produce without froth or fuss. Our menus and prices vary, from formal three course wedding breakfasts, to informal sharing platters, barbecues and hog roasts.

Our fully licensed venue can accommodate up to 120 guests for a ceremony, 80 seated for a wedding breakfast and we have the capacity for an additional 40 guests in the evening. Our spaces are very flexible in terms of decoration and layout, giving you the opportunity to create a celebration that is unique to you.

Enjoy a champagne reception on the river, on a boat trip along the Thames.

We would love to talk to you about your plans, and to show you around our versatile venue
