Pimhill Barn

The feel

Pimhill Barn at Lea Hall is a unique space for your social event, and one which you can make completely your own.

It is not a function room, conference centre or hotel suite. The space will be yours – decorate it in your style, choose your own food, select your own drinks, and play your own music.

The 16th century barn is oak timbered and joins to an open arched traditional cart shed. More guests can easily be accommodated with the addition of an adjoining marquee. The Clockhouse, at the end of the barn, is a private room where the bride can prepare for the day ahead, or where photographs can be taken in privacy.

The barn

This architecturally stunning barn, dating back to 1584, provides the perfect surroundings for a party. The large room has beautiful oak beams and is adjoined to a traditional brick cart shed with open arches – covered outdoor seating ideal for pre-dinner drinks. The barn has exposed brick work, rustic beams and a wooden floor. All of the power for the barn is generated from solar panels situated on the roofs of farm buildings at Lea Hall. A combination of the past and the present is what makes the barn a truly unique venue.

Location

Pimhill Barn is situated at the end of a long sweeping driveway and as you approach you will pass Lea Hall and the 16th century dovecote. The barn is a blank canvas apart from the beautiful oak beams: perfect for weddings, special birthdays, baby naming ceremonies, retirement parties, charity events, celebratory lunches and dinners. It is also a spectacular backdrop for vintage or rustic photo shoots.

Capacity and Suppliers

Pimhill Barn has seated capacity for up to 150 guests, or 250 with the adjoining marquee. If you would like the option, a full list of recommended local suppliers can be provided, covering everything from tables and chairs, flowers and food. You are of course welcome to use your own chosen suppliers: our aim is for you to have exactly the event or party that you have imagined.

Weddings and Wedding Receptions

Pimhill Barn is licensed to hold civil marriages and partnerships. For a wedding or wedding reception, the close bridal party will have the option of using the private gardens at Lea Hall for photographs.
