Nestled in the rolling Mendip hills in Somerset, Pennard house is a beautiful, family owned Georgian Manor house, surrounded by secluded gardens, wildflower meadows, and winding cider orchards. It’s a truly magical venue for your rustic, countryside wedding. With everything within walking distance, your tailor-made bespoke wedding day takes place in one charming location, with complete exclusivity, whether it’s for one day or an entire weekend!
If it’s a long celebration you’re after, then this is the place for you. Our couples can come the night before to decorate the Coach House and enjoy supper with loved ones cooked by our in-house chef, allowing you to eat, drink and relax knowing everything is ready for your special day. Alternatively, the picturesque 14th century village church is located just beyond our garden.
After your ceremony, enjoy a glass of champagne and canapes on the south facing lawn with plenty of space to roam and even to host games – Croquet anyone?
Able to accommodate anything from an intimate wedding to a grand celebration, the Coach House provides an atmospheric secluded dining area for your wedding breakfast with wooden beams and fairy lights. Afterwards, celebrate with friends and family in our unique party space with custom built dancefloor, bespoke bar and candlelit cosy seating booths, all fitted with lighting and a sound system.
Whatever you want your wedding day to be, Pennard House will make it happen, the epitome of dreamy English elegance, whilst remaining a warm country home, it’s the perfect setting for your romantic, rustic wedding.
