Tucked away in a quiet, secluded valley just three miles inland from the North Cornish coast lies Pengenna Manor, an 800-year-old private family home set in over 300 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside and available for exclusive use hire.

Completely private and exclusively yours, whether you’re dreaming of a grand country house wedding with carriages, canapes on the lawn and a string quartet, a simple and natural countryside wedding with welly boots, tractors for transport and hay bales, or a bohemian vision of giant tented tipis, acoustic guitars and lanterns strung amongst the trees, this hidden gem is the ideal venue for your special day.

Pengenna Manor is a ‘blank canvas’ venue. We provide you with a beautiful, secluded and historic backdrop for you to use however you wish to create your special day, and we can give you as much or as little help as you need to do this.

Tie the knot in our feature summer house with views down over the valley while your guests look on from under an avenue of apple and cherry blossom trees, under the archway of the 450-year-old front door of the Manor with your guests sat out on the front lawn, or inside the Grade II* Manor House itself in the historic surroundings of the Drawing Room.

Celebrate your union with a drinks reception in the walled garden on the front lawn of the Manor, in the Drawing Room inside it, on the Ha-ha Terrace with its sweeping valley views, on the terrace in the Marquee Garden, or relax with your friends and family in the meadow amongst the wildflowers leading down to the river. Or, if you wish, in all five locations! For your wedding breakfast and evening party, make use of our purpose-designed marquee garden and hire in any kind of marquee you like to suit your style.

No matter what your dream, our on-site wedding co-ordinator will work with you and your own suppliers, or ones we have recommended, to pull together a very special day that you will never forget.

The Manor is available to hire as your exclusive wedding venue just or your ceremony, just for your reception, or for both your ceremony

and reception. Periods of hire start from 24 hours and can last as long as you like!

For your overnight accommodation we have four beautifully restored, character-filled bedrooms available inside the Manor on a bed & breakfast basis consisting of the glamorous Art Deco style Bridal Suite with its luxurious en-suite shower room, and three further sumptuous bedrooms – two good sized double bedrooms and one smaller twin bedroom that can be converted to a double. Each of these rooms have been individually and tastefully decorated in a Victorian and Georgian country house style.

For the rest of your guests there is a wide range of fantastic accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets in the area near the Manor, including FREE camping in the Manor grounds itself for all of your guests, and three houses very close to the Manor that are perfect to accommodate other immediate members of your family on a self-catering basis.

Pengenna Manor is available to hire for a wide range of different events too including celebrations, naming ceremonies, parties and corporate events. We also host our own series of special theatre, arts, music and cinema events throughout the year.
