Built in 1590 in the shape of an ‘E’ to honour Queen Elizabeth I, Mortons House provides a perfect setting for your special day. The manor is located in picturesque Corfe Castle in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck. The imposing entrance hall has the original Minster stone fireplace and leads to a magnificent oak-panelled drawing room lined with exotic wooden friezes which were carved by Indonesian sailors.
The oak panelled drawing room is a beautiful room for a Civil Ceremony catering for up to 60 guests. The House has a wonderfully warm, lived-in feel whilst at the same time being romantic and atmospheric. The Elizabethan Room is an ideal suite for the Bride and Groom to enjoy their honeymoon. Weddings at Mortons House are equally as popular in the winter months as the Summer months with its cosy log fired drawing room and warm ambiance.
Mortons House Hotel is a family run, privately owned hotel and has a dedicated Wedding
