Lounge is a multi-faceted, multi-award winning hospitality venue with a talented team of highly skilled and driven individuals both front and back of house.
One of the most impressive and historic buildings in the area, owned by the Mackay family since 1860, the original building was demolished and lavishly rebuilt in 1900 using some of the finest materials by the most creative tradesmen locally and as far away as Italy.
We are very proud of our many unique and original features from a huge roaring fire in the Restaurant, original wooden sash windows, beautiful, ornate oak panelling throughout, hand laid mosaic tiles and an original sprung oak dancefloor to name but a few.
We feel that we have created an exquisite and enchanting haven by melding these traditional elements with some equally beautiful modern fixtures and furnishings like black crystal chandeliers, hand made Italian leather seating and elegant flock wallpapers.
