The feel

Originally built in 1625 Letchworth Hall, has always played an important role in this corner of Hertfordshire. Whilst the original beams and Jacobean fireplaces remain, they have now been complimented by the addition of two fabulous banqueting suites and 85 beautifully appointed, air conditioned bedrooms.

Situated in the peaceful village of Willian on the outskirts of Letchworth, the tranquil country surroundings belie the fact that we are minutes from Junction 9 of the A1 and a short drive from Stevenage and Hitchin.

The Great Hall

The centre piece of the original 17th century Hall, with its original timbers and oak panelled walls the Great Hall has always been a very popular venue for civil ceremonies up to 90 and receptions up to 70. All of our private rooms are licensed for civil ceremonies and all have their own unique qualities.

The Alington Suite

The largest of our suites, the Alington is a self contained venue with its own entrance, lobby and bar. Fully air-conditioned and furnished to a very high standard. This is the ideal room for ceremonies and receptions up to 200. The capacity is increased for evening receptions to 300.

The Marston Suite

An elegant and versatile banqueting room with its own bar and patio area overlooking the lawn, is a perfect backdrop for your wedding photographs.
