Nestled between the Berwyn and Cambrian Mountains in Mid Wales, we’re only a mile from the River Vyrnwy, 9 miles from the enchanting and romantic Lake Vyrnwy and just 12 miles from Welshpool, we’re surrounded by some of the most wonderful, scenic areas which are relatively untouched, and seldom visited.
We’re near Welshpool, which is a country market town in Mid Wales, called the Gateway to Wales, and we are ideally situated for lovely walks, or along Glyndwr’s Way or Ann Griffiths. There are many places of interest to visit, for example Welshpool and Llanfair Light Railway (one of the great little steam trains of Wales), Canal Boat trips to Llangollen, and the beautiful Powis castle with its fantastic gardens and there are plenty of other gardens worth visiting.
We can cater for small, intimate ceremonies in our guest lounge, or up to 250 guests in our barn, depending on the type of wedding you want. Our large stock barn is available for larger ceremonies, where you could then hold the entire event, making it all under one roof, or relocate to a marquee or tipi for the reception, either on our field or near the campsite after the ceremony. The choice is yours.
