The feel
Gosfield Hall is a beautiful Georgian manor house nestled in scenic rural Essex. Surrounded by Royal history, the Queen Charlotte’s Oak panelled gallery with a 120 ft long aisle is a versatile space for wedding ceremonies and the newly licensed carriageway is a gorgeous location for outdoor ceremonies on those warmer days.
The Marquis of Buckingham’s former ballroom provides an elegant setting for the reception meal for up to 116 guests and there are also several ostentatious reception rooms for you and your guests to enjoy. As we offer exclusive use of the entire house you can also invite up to 250 guests for the evening reception and party.
The hall further boats 23 charming bedroom suites reserved exclusively for you for the night of your wedding. Plus a brand new cottage for the Bride and Bridesmaids for the night before the big day. Arrive from 5pm the night before and relax and unwind knowing that you can awake revived and refreshed ready to commence with the pampering nice and early.
