4748 is a wedding venue with a difference. 4748 is located within a pair of newly restored Grade I Listed Georgian buildings in historic Hamilton Square in Birkenhead. 4748 is fully licensed for weddings and civil ceremonies and is also just 100 metres from Wirral Registry Office.

4748 provides an elegant, intimate setting for weddings and civil partnerships which will result in a truly memorable day for you and your guests. Our experienced in-house wedding coordinator, Sarah, is at hand to assist you in preparing for your special day.

Your guests will typically be greeted in our luxurious Champagne Room which is situated on the ground floor where they will be served a celebratory drink and deliciously prepared canapés, together with the optional evening use of The Cellar Bar & Café. You and your guests will then be escorted to the elegant interjoining Burgundy and Claret rooms on the first floor, which can accommodate up to 60 guests in total. Both rooms offer outstanding period features including handmade crystal chandeliers and original fireplaces and overlook the gardens and architecture of Hamilton Square.

All of our food is prepared in-house and the hospitality team will create a unique menu and event plan which is tailored to your own specific wedding requirements – whether it is a five course sit down Wedding Breakfast, a celebratory buffet or delicious canapés.

4748 also provide boutique bedrooms and a luxury penthouse suite which have been carefully designed to a meticulous standard for wedding guests.
