Welcome to Doxford Barns, a truly unique barn-wedding venue. Situated on a 550-acre private country estate in the heart of Northumberland and surrounded by picturesque, unspoiled countryside, our stunning venue offers complete exclusivity to you and your guests.

We stray away from the ‘norm’ at Doxford Barns, offering both one-day and three-day wedding options. Our three-day wedding package provides you with an extended wedding celebration. This gives you the chance to relax and fully immerse yourself in the idyllic Northumberland countryside and the option for you and up to 41 guests to stay in our on-site cottage accommodation for two nights, with a full culinary experience. We also have 5 fantastic glamping pods that can sleep up to 20 further overnight guests.

Our one-day wedding option gives you a more traditional choice of celebrating your wedding in a single day, for which Doxford Barns will be exclusive to you and your guests, along with the option of an overnight stay in our cottage accommodation.

Our specialism lies in creating wedding experiences that are completely bespoke to you. We are focused on providing a blank canvas to help you tailor and create a personal wedding experience, which accomplishes all you need and want.

Doxford Barns is characterised by grade II listed, 18th century stone and oak barns, and complemented by modern architecture. The Threshing Hall is filled with original features and festoon lighting, to create a romantic setting for ceremonies of up to 180 guests. Your guests will be in awe when they walk into the Great Barn, which is cocooned around a spectacular oak frame. The vast windows overlook the rolling countryside, creating a stunning backdrop for your wedding breakfast. The capacity of the Great Barn is 180 day guests and 250 evening guests.
