Craig-y-Nos Castle

A wedding at Craig y Nos Castle is a relaxed occasion, full of country park walks and loads of rooms to amble about within the castle. At Craig y Nos Castle you have the run of the whole ground floor, exclusive to you and your guests.

Packages available for as few as 25 guests, for an Intimate Wedding, up to 130 Guests, with accommodation for up to 80 guests in en-suites, and 20 additional guests in non en-suites. All your guests can stay overnight, and party late into the night, without worrying about getting home afterwards. This means your wedding does not come to an early close, as people don’t need to rush off home till the next morning. It’s like a country house weekend for all your friends and relatives.

Many couples make it a two day wedding, as there is usually the option of overnight accommodation the night before and a pre-wedding evening meal with close family. Have a few close relatives help you set up your room decorations and table décor the evening before, so you can fully relax on your wedding day.

There are fabulous photo opportunities both inside and outside, after your Ceremony in the castle’s opera house or Conservatory. You can even get married in the summer house in the gardens, if weather permits.

After your wedding, your photographer will take you around the gardens, neighbouring country park and along the River Tawe paths, for some fabulous memorable photos with the Castle as your backdrop.

Welcome Drinks after the ceremony can be served inside if weather is unsettled, or outside in the courtyard on a fine day, depending on season, but both are equally stunning.

Your wedding banquet is served in the Conservatory overlooking the picturesque Brecon Beacons, National Park.  For your evening wedding party, use the wooden dance floor in the ‘Music room’ for your disco.  After your meal you and your guests can get your evening party started straight away.
