The Cavendish Pavilion is undeniably inspirational. The room features a traditional fireplace, integral bar and can be decorated to complement any theme you have in mind. With stunning exterior views, it’s also the perfect place for your guests to spill outside and enjoy the evening overlooking the river.

The setting is complemented by expert organisation; great tasting food and friendly attentive staff, all of which combine to help make your day one to remember.

Good food is freshly prepared in our own kitchens using the best quality local produce – we can even organise bespoke menus to suit your taste.

Can we use the priory ruins at Bolton Abbey for photographs?

Of course! We highly recommend taking the short stroll (or drive) to the priory ruins, which are just down the river from the Pavilion. This offers an amazing backdrop to photographs, as do the riverside footpaths and wooden bridges on the doorstep of the Cavendish Pavilion.

Is there any accommodation nearby?

There are two beautiful self catering cottage on the Bolton Abbey Estate, both sleeping 6 people which are a great option for the wedding party. We recommend Stank House Cottage as it even has its own hot tub! The Devonshire Fell at Burnsall is just a short drive away, where up to 5 rooms can be booked on a bed and breakfast basis or you could choose to book all 16 bedrooms exclusively and enjoy a full Yorkshire breakfast with your guests the morning after your wedding. At the Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa, we allow up to 5 bedrooms on a bed & breakfast only basis, Sunday to Friday – bookings are available online and are on a first come, first serve basis so be quick! The Cavendish Pavilion holds a maximum capacity of 120 guests during the day, including children and the happy couple and up to 200 guests for your evening reception.
