The feel

WWT London Wetland Centre is a lush wildlife oasis with lakes, ponds and gardens where you can combine the beauty and tranquillity of a rural setting with the convenience and sophistication of the City. Hold your big day in one of our unique rooms with beautiful views over our main lake and the London skyline as a backdrop. Not only will it be a day to remember for the rest of your life, but you will be providing lasting support for future wildlife conservation work too.

The centre has two rooms licensed for wedding ceremonies and civil partnerships:

Observatory

Our spectacular, two storey glass-fronted Observatory is perfect for a romantic ceremony followed by drinks reception, with panoramic views across the reserve. (max capacity 110).

Wetland Living

This lovely replica of a thatched fisherman’s hut is a very original venue set in our wildlife reserve (max capacity 42). Take your vows amidst our sustainable gardens with the breeze rustling through the reeds.

Water’s Edge Room

Our main room for receptions is a light, spacious and versatile room with seating up to 120 guests for a seat down meal and 200 for the evening reception. It offers beautiful views across the reserve and benefits from a wooden decked balcony providing an additional area for your guests to relax.
