Luxury Guest Bedrooms

A detailed bedroom list is available upon booking allowing you to thoughtfully allocate your wedding guests to particular rooms. Each of the 13 bedrooms, their en-suites and bathrooms have been lovingly re-designed to emulate the history and ambience of years gone. The Castle features across two floors 12 doubles – 4 of which are available as a Twin – 1 Twin and 2 singles with some dressing rooms. From grand four-posters to cosy sleigh beds, each bedroom is individually themed to guarantee you and your guests a welcoming atmosphere and memorable stay.

Additional accommodation can be found in our four quaint catered cottages on the estate should it be required.

Your Civil Ceremony & Reception

All the rooms at the Castle are licensed for civil ceremonies enabling you to create a personalised setting in our magnificent Scottish wedding venue. Up to 50 guests can be seated for your ceremony and wedding breakfast and the dining room can accommodate a more intimate party. Celebrations can continue on into the evening with dancing taking place in the Main Hall. For larger numbers we can accommodate a marquee wedding on the lawn next to the Castle or further down the parkland near the idyllic shores of Loch Ness with unmatchable views across the Highlands. Marquees cater for 180 guests for a wedding service, wedding breakfast and reception.

Intricately decorated in deep colours and rich lavish fabrics the Red Drawing Room features a beautiful Merano chandelier, antique furnishings and views down to the shoreline through large windows. Complete your wedding with tradition, opulence, style and comfort by relaxing in front of the fire with a Scottish night cap as you bask in memories of the day.

Food & Drink

Catering at Aldourie Castle is second to none. Our in house chef can work with you to design a bespoke wedding breakfast menu to suit your taste and budget complemented by a fine choice of wines. We can arrange anything from medieval banquets to simple 3-course dinners. The following morning you and your guests can enjoy a traditional Scottish breakfast either on the terrace in summer or in the snug Laird’s Room.
