The feel

My approach to wedding photography can be summed up in just one word; unobtrusive. I don’t interfere and I won’t make you pose. I simply observe. It’s the little details, the moments between people, that really excite me – you can’t get that from looking down a lens while saying “cheese”. By having this approach I’m able to create honest and natural photographs that tell your tale of the day you got married. I am a firm believer that while the photographs are the most important aspect of being a wedding photographer, you also need to feel relaxed and comfortable with your wedding photographer for them to capture you at your best. I’m a naturally relaxed person and that carries through into my style of photography, you’ll never be made to ‘hurry up’ or ‘do that again’. I use natural light almost exclusively as it produces the flattering images I love. So when I say I take honest natural photographs, that’s what I mean. You’ll receive an accurate, artistically shot and carefully considered record of one of the happiest days of your life. That’s what I do.
