The feel

The Old Bridge at Huntingdon is a handsome 18th century building, once a private bank, overlooking the River Ouse on the edge of the town. Its friendly relaxed atmosphere in an idyllic riverside location balances that of a town-house hotel and a traditional bustling inn. Decorated in keeping with its original character, the Hotel’s elegant panelled private dining room and main lounge are dressed with fine fabrics and artwork, whilst in the informal Terrace restaurant, the walls have been hand-painted by muralist, Julia Rushbury, creating a single work of art that took over four months to complete.
