The Mill House is set among wonderful landscaped gardens with riverside views of the River Loddon, in the Berkshire countryside. Licensed for Civil Ceremonies a truly unique location to hold your wedding venue in Swallowfield, Reading, Berkshire. The character of the building dating back to 1823 adds charm to your wedding with inviting log fires and cosy corners to create a romantic warmth.
We are delighted to offer our permanent marquee for weddings. Fully heated on cooler days and bi-fold doors which open on to the gardens on warmer days with your own dance floor and private bar, this light bright and airy space gives you a stunning blank canvas for you to create your dream day.
More intimate weddings can be held in the main house, offering beautiful rooms overlooking the gardens.
Your wedding ceremony can be held inside or in summer months, outside on the lawns with the beautiful Cedar Pavilion.
We fully appreciate that all weddings are different and with this in mind, we are very happy to tailor make a package to suit your individual requirements. We would be delighted to show you our facilities at a mutually convenient time and to discuss your wedding in more detail.
