The feel

The Parrot Inn is a beautifully English 17th Century oak-beamed country pub, full of character and located in the heart of Surrey. Situated at the foot

of both Leith Hill and Holmbury Hill, and over-looking the village green, The Parrot is a superb venue for a wedding. Weddings take place in the conservatory of The Gosterwood Room which is

also licensed for Civil Marriage Ceremonies. The approach is through a private landscaped garden -perfect for reception drinks, canapes and photos!

The team at The Parrot is passionate about food and use locally sourced and

seasonal produce whenever possible. We carry a comprehensive wine list and

we are very proud of our traditional ales.

As a family we have been running pubs and catering/organizing events for 30

years but took The Parrot over 7 years ago. We are very proud of the awards we have won in this time, particularly with regard to our food. Our emphasis

is on local, seasonal fantastic food. We farm 500 acres of the Surrey Hills and supply The Parrot with our own traditional, rare breed meat. We use

non-intensive farming methods, hang our meat to ensure amazing flavour and employ a full-time butcher and skilled chefs to finish the meat in the best way. We produce nearly everything on site from bacon to bread and pies to

pickles. We also source produce from other great local suppliers. All the food served throughout the pub and Gosterwood Room is made on site.

We believe every wedding is individual, our brochure is simply created as a

guide to price and hopefully to inspire: but these are by no means set packages-so please talk to us with any ideas of your own!
