Situated in the heart of Bloomsbury, central London, and set in an elegant, Georgian-style building, the Foundling Museum provides a beautiful, unique wedding venue in central London for your civil ceremony or reception.

Take your vows in one of our picturesque rooms, then relax and enjoy champagne in our historic interiors. The Court Room provides the perfect setting for an intimate wedding breakfast with its sumptuous Rococo interior. Guests can dine amongst works by great British painters William Hogarth and Thomas Gainsborough, with windows overlooking Brunswick Square. If you are looking for a larger space then dinner can be served in the Picture Gallery, which is well-suited for speeches and houses a selection of artistic treasures. The ground floor is ideal for dancing, or your guests can enjoy exclusive use of the Museum, exploring our opulent interiors whilst enjoying champagne and canapes. The Museum is perfect as a large, medium or small wedding venue in London.

The Museum’s interiors and adjacent Brunswick Square provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs as part of an intimate wedding experience. We work closely with a selection of photographers and approved suppliers including caterers, florists and musicians. See our Plan Your Event page for more details about our wedding suppliers. Our dedicated events team can offer a bespoke service to ensure you create your perfect day. We have dedicated staff to help you from the site visit of our exclusive wedding venue, administration and pre-planning through to on-site management of the event itself. Hire is available from 17:00 Tuesday – Sunday and from 12:00 on Mondays. Earlier hires can sometimes be accommodated, please call to discuss your requirements.
